Apple event to be held at end of March

Apple is selling out of stock in Australia - iPhone 6, 6s, 7, 8, iMacs, MacBooks, Mac Pros, and aging accessories are all on sale at Apple stores and at Apple resellers. Apple typically only allows discounts as an incentive to clear stock prior to a refresh. Apple will be hosting an event at the end of March, to introduce new and replacement products!

Out the door: Old Apple products out, new Apple products in.

Discounts on Apple products, up to 10%

We know Apple only allows discounts as a sell-out measure, when a new product is about to be released, so retailers can clear old inventory before introducing new products. This is fairly standard at Apple and some other electronics makers.

The good news is, Australian retailers are now discounting Apple products by 10% or more, indicating that new products are now on the way.

Discounts are available on the iPhone 6, 6s, 7, and 8, the iPad and iPad Pro, iMacs, MacBooks, and some MacBook Pro low-end models. This indicates that these items are reaching the end of their manufacturing life, and are about to be replaced.

We predict the replacements will be previewed at an Apple event to be held in the United States at the end of March 2018.

Apple event, March 2018

The event is predicted to be held in the last week of March, between the 24th and 30th of March, at an unconventional location in the United States.

Products set to feature at the event include the iPad and the MacBook Air replacement, as well as updates to iOS and macOS.

Update:

The event is to be held on March 27th, 2018, in Chicago.
