HP is leading the charge in the mobile graphics race. The new HP Zbook x2 Mobile Detachable Workstation will be the first PC in Australia to feature brand new GDDR6 graphics memory.
Try putting that on your work purchase order.
That's a lot of words to fill in on your corporate purchase order: the HP Zbook x2 Detachable Workstation has a long name and a hefty price of AU$5000, before options.
GDDR6
The GDDR6 graphics memory inside the HP Zbook is the first of a new generation of GDDR graphics memory being manufactured in late 2017 and early 2018. SK Hynix and Samsung are known to be producing GDDR6, but it is unclear which supplier HP used for the 2GB GDDR6 memory in the new Zbook, to released in mid 2018.
