Qualcomm's chips are perfect for smart speakers, and as previously reported, Qualcomm is now ready to release its smart speaker chip and system designs to external manufacturers, enabling other manufacturers to quickly develop smart speakers.
Expect a range of brands to quickly release smart speakers featuring Qualcomm's Snapdragon and IoT chips, with a choice of Cortana or Alexa on board.
