Lenovo will debut a Snapdragon-powered device in early January 2018, featuring a Qualcomm chipset and a unique form factor.

While others are expected to release a tablet or laptop style device with a Snapdragon heart, Lenovo is taking a month two longer than its competitors, and is preparing to debut a Snapdragon device in a unique form factor.
To keep it unique, it could be:
smaller screen size, potentially a phone or phablet sized screen
have a focus on pen and ink input
or offer a hybrid pen and physical keyboard in a slider mechanism.
The device could debut in early 2018 with the Snapdragon 835, or be announced early with a short wait for the release of the newer and more powerful Snapdragon 845 chip.
If it is to be a phone-sized device or a small tablet, we'd look for the inclusion of one or two USB-C ports, an SD card slot, touch screen, and pen. The device could also dock into a charging cradle, recharging over USB-C, while the dock offers further ports for expansion and connection to a monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse.
This would be a unique selling point and attract a lot of attention to the Lenovo brand. The phablet is expected to run Windows 10 S.
While optimised for Windows 10 S, it can be upgraded for free to WIndows 10 Pro via download until September 2018, after which you can upgrade for a small fee via the Windows Store.
Lenovo, Microsoft, and Qualcomm are expected to put their heads together and market the Snapdragon powered devices under the 'Always Connected PC' nomenclature.
